COVID-19 TESTING ON CAMPUS
UPDATE: The on-campus COVID-19 testing centre for Western students, staff and faculty has reopened in the Graphics Services Building. Please note that there will be limited parking available in between the Support Services Building (SSB) and Advanced Facility for Avian Research (AFAR) buildings.
Any registered student or current employee with an active Western username and password can book a test or a vaccine appointment using the online booking tools. Pre-booking guarantees you a spot. Some walk-in appointments are available.
The COVID-19 testing centre is open Monday, July 26 through Friday, July 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will be closed Saturday, July 31 through Monday, August 2 for the long weekend. The campus community is encouraged to visit one of the London Assessment Centres for a COVID-19 test during this time.
Western students, staff and faculty are eligible to get COVID-19 test at the Western COVID-19 Testing Centre if they:
- Have symptoms of COVID-19
- Have been notified by public health or the COVID Alert app they have been exposed to a confirmed COVID-19 case
- Have been directed to receive a test by a physician (eg. those undergoing cancer treatment or who require a test as part of pre-operative planning)
- Are required to take a test after arriving from abroad and completing quarantine
Student Health Care Clinic: Symptomatic patients requiring a physician's assessment can book a virtual visit with a doctor. Follow-up examination and testing in person may be scheduled at the doctor's discretion, which may include a COVID-19 test.
